Swampy tardigrade

This tardigrade is "swampy" tardigrade, in tie dye blues and greens in the softest shannon bunny (if you're a fabric aficionado).
Swampy measures roughly 12" long, his flappy flaily 8 legs are weighted with polypellets for texture, but the body is not weighted like my work usually is due to the nature of the stretchy bobbly fabric - as soon as you put weight in there it stretches the bobbles out and gets rid of the fabric effect that works so well for their rolls.

These special water bears (also known as moss piglets) known to survive being shot into the vacuum of space and back without any protection whatsoever, being in the frozen antarctic ice, AND being in boiling bubbling vocanic lakes. They really dont mind, they just go about munching on their moss happy as larry. Truely, some of my favorite freaky little creatures.

*All plush made by me are art dolls! As they're handmade they're friends for child hearted adults or big kids who understand Gentle-Special-Thing, but please not for small kids or pets in case someone thinks an eyeball looks real tasty.

I have a dog (sweet noodledog who you may be familiar with)
While she comes nowhere near my fabrics or finished pieces, and I lint roll every friend before they get shipped off to get rid of any loose minky fabric dander from the making process - she oversees me working from her own special couch at the end of my studio. Because of this, I am only comfortable disclosing there's a dog in my home for those who may be highly allergic!
